Prof. Dalip Singh Swamy
- Professor Swamy has worked in the Economics Area for a long time.
- He is best known for his books, Multinational Corporations and the World Economy (1980) and The Political Economy of Industrialization: From Self Reliance to Globalization (1994).
- He also authored a number of published papers including Balanced and Unbalanced Growth-Review of Economics and Statistics (1967) and An Econometric Model of Demand and Supply of British Exports to the US (1966). He was regarded as a brilliant macroeconomist.
Prof. K.R.G. Nair
- Founder-Director of the Centre for Canadian Studies of the University of Delhi.
- The first Dean of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities.
- PhD in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
- He has authored several books and articles on Economic and Social issues.
Prof. Lallan Prasad
- One of the Founders of Department of Business Economics.
- He served for thirty years (1974-2004) in the Department.
- Experienced Senior Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry.

- Delivered lectures at the University de Paris and Rouven Institute of Management, France and presented a research paper on Kautilya’s Arthshastra in the World Sanskrit conference held in New Delhi and gave a seminar on the Ancient Economic Model and its relevance to Good Governance at the Hindu University of America.
